In January 2016 Ralf Busche took over the position of Senior Vice President Global Supply Chain Strategy & Performance BASF Group. He is responsible for global supply chain strategy, planning and process development, supply chain service and network optimization, and supply chain performance management for all BASF business units. Ralf ensures that required supply chain capabilities are available and caters for a competitively differentiated supply chain for each business unit at an optimum balance between differentiation and harmonization. Ralf Busche has been working for BASF since 1989. After working in Corporate Consulting, Dispersions and Plastics, he later moved to Fine Chemicals, where as Director he took over management of the division’s supply chain and value chain. From 2007 to 2008 Busche was Director Global Procurement Maritime, Air & Terminal Services. In 2009 he moved to Hong Kong and as Vice President took over responsibility for the supply chain in Asia Pacific.
Chris recently joined Walgreens Boots Alliance in September 2016 to support driving best supply chain practice across the International division (business outside of the US and UK). Prior to this, Chris spent four years at Costa Express during a period when the business grew more than 300%. Most recently, he led the operations team to deliver growth outside the UK. Previously, Chris led the supply chain function for three years which culminated with a European Supply Chain Excellence Award in 2013. He has also gained supply chain experience in the home care and logistics arenas. Chris graduated from Keele University with a BA Honours in French and German
Jose Deyá joined Syngenta in 2012 and now leads the Global Supply Centre of Expertise in LATAM. He has held many different roles in supply chain at various companies over the last 20 years. He began his career in engineering, planning and scheduling for the petrochemical industry. Four years later he moved into an operations manager role at a logistics company for the automotive industry, then transitioned to a supply chain manager position for the packaging industry. After three years there, he moved into supply planning and then to territory supply chain director at a dairy FMCG global company. He has a formal educational background in Mechanical Engineering and holds a degree in Industrial Business Administration.
Howard T. Fuller, PhD
Howard Fuller has over 20 years combined experience as a business leader, business management consultant and head of Quality & Supply Chain. Dr. Fuller has served as head of Quality & Supply Chain at Amyris since February 2012. Before joining Amyris, Dr. Fuller led a business management consulting firm working with leading Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Also, Dr. Fuller has led multiple startup companies including an online health & fitness company and revolutionary engine technology company. Previous to that, he served as an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University. His degrees include a BS in Mathematics, MS in Statistics and PhD in Industrial Engineering.
Mark Hersh is Director Supply Chain Strategy for The Clorox Company. In this role he is responsible for developing the Supply Chain vision and roadmap, being an internal expert on leading practices and industry trends, designing the processes and capabilities for globally integrated end-to-end supply chains, leading the supply chain analytics organization and leading major initiatives across the company. He is helping drive the Value Chain Segmentation process for the company with the goal of delivering transformational value through tailored supply chains matched with product and market requirements. He is also the program manager for the Company wide Growth Culture and Lean Enterprise initiatives.
Mani Janakiram has been with Intel for 17 years and has managed several strategic projects in factory operations, capacity planning, process control, analytics, strategy, supplier management, IOT, factory science and supply chain. In addition to his Hi-tech experience, his 25 years of experience includes Automotive and Aerospace industries. Prior to Intel, he worked at Honeywell and Motorola in operations, strategy, systems, analytics, manufacturing, research, planning, etc. He is located in Gilbert, AZ.
Jim Lawton is a technology executive with extensive leadership experience in technology innovation. Prior to Rethink Robotics, he was an executive at Dun & Bradstreet leading an innovative new data and analytics business unit on track to deliver several hundred million in revenue Earlier, Jim was VP and GM of D&B’s Open Ratings subsidiary. Jim had served as Vice President of Marketing for Open Ratings (acquired by D&B) where he transformed a 5-year-old internet company into an aggressive SaaS provider. Jim was VP of Marketing for Optiant and VP of Product Marketing for ECNet. He began his career at Hewlett Packard. Jim holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
A citizen of Egypt, currently resident in Bahrain , Walaa has over 16 years of supply chain management experience with 2 Fortune 500 firms. His career has included stints in consulting, quality assurance and logistics; jobs have ranged from direct supervision of Planners at 25 years of age to Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations at a multi-billion dollar international company heading up the SC division with >120 employees. Walaa has extensive knowledge of the FMCG ( Detergents , Paper ) industry in Middle East working 14 consecutive years for Procter and Gamble EMEA then for Kimberly Clark Middle East . He spent as well 3 years helping building the Distribution footprint for P&G in Nigeria
Erika Murguia joined Cummins in 2013 as part of the Corporate Supply Chain Strategy team, where she is responsible for leading supply chain design and network optimization efforts for Cummins.
She has a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University and later joined Tecnologico de Monterrey – Campus Sinaloa as a professor of Industrial Engineering. She was also part of TIS Consulting in Mexico where she led supply chain design and network optimization for governmental projects.
Keith Nash is Vice President of Process & Technology for the Residential Business unit within Lennox International. Lennox Residential is a premier supplier of high quality, innovative product in the indoor air comfort and quality industry. The Lennox team has been on a continuous journey of expansion and excellence in their supply chain and customer fulfillment. The team has moved from a centralized supply chain structure to a hub-n-spoke network. This while more than tripling the number of Lennox stores, increasing Service Levels, while reducing logistics costs, and working capital. Lennox has put a machine learning engine into production to take the billion lines of seasonality data and automate seasonality clustering. Previous to Lennox, Mr. Nash was a Specialist Leader in the Strategy and Operations practice for Deloitte Consulting.
Mourad Tamoud is the Global Supply Chain China Senior Vice President for Schneider Electric. In this role, he is responsible for Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Logistics for the Greater China region.
Previously he held positions with progressive responsibility in procurement and manufacturing in Asia and Europe. He graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Genie Industriel de l'Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble receiving a Master Degree of Industrial Engineering.
Edwin is responsible for one of the key strategic programs of Royal FloraHolland FLOW, aiming to optimize the Floricultural Supply Chain Worldwide. The aim of this programme is to develop SC solutions & service members and customers in the field of Supply Chain operations, information and finance. He studied Business Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, graduated in 1995, and holds a Master's in Logistics Management.
