Celebrating the launch of her company Supply Chain Insights in February, 2012, Lora Cecere, Founder and CEO, continues to help supply chain professionals with thought-leading supply chain research. Her prior work experience includes 30 years of diverse supply chain experience. This includes nine years as an industry analyst with Gartner Group, AMR Research, and Altimeter Group, 15 years as a leader in the building of supply chain software at Manugistics and Descartes Systems Group, and several years as a supply chain practitioner at Procter & Gamble, Kraft/General Foods, Clorox, and Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream (now a division of Nestlé). Lora has a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She is co-author of the book Bricks Matter which now has 16 five-star reviews posted on Amazon.com. Her next book Metrics That Matter is due out in December of 2014. She is also author of the 5-year old enterprise software blog Supply Chain Shaman with over 10,000 readers. Lora is APICS, CIRM, and CPIM certified and is past-teacher of effective marketing concepts for software executives in the Pragmatic Marketing program.
