Lora Cecere
CEO, Supply Chain Insights
Lora Cecere – In February 2012, I started my own research firm Supply Chain Insights, which is paving new directions in building thought-leading supply chain research. Our research is designed for the early adopter seeking first mover advantage. Prior work experience includes 30 years of diverse supply chain experience. This includes 9 years as an industry analyst with Gartner Group, AMR Research, and Altimeter Group, 15 years as a leader in the building of supply chain software at Manugistics and Descartes Systems Group, and several years as a supply chain practitioner at Procter & Gamble, Kraft/General Foods, Clorox, and Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream (now a division of Nestlé). My first book Bricks Matter was published in December 2012 and now has 15 five-star reviews posted on Amazon.com. I am also the author of the enterprise software blog Supply Chain Shaman. The blog focuses on the use of enterprise applications to drive supply chain excellence. As an enterprise strategist, I focus on the changing face of enterprise technologies.
Education includes B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennslyvania, I have also completed post-graduate work in organizational development from Georgetown University. Certifications include APICS CIRM and CPIM and is a past teacher of effective marketing concepts for software executives in the Pragmatic Marketing program.
I have a true passion for gardening, textiles of all types (quilting, knitting, and weaving), photography and dancing. I also enjoy building my home on a farm in West Virginia.

Jeremiah Owyang is an Industry Analyst on Customer Strategy and a Partner at Altimeter Group. As author of the blog “Web Strategy” (rated by Edelman as top Analyst Blog since 2008), he focuses on how corporations connect with their customers using web technologies. Jeremiah hails previously from Forrester Research as a Senior Analyst focused on Social Computing for the Interactive Marketer and takes pride in launching and managing Hitachi Data Systems’ Social Media program in 2005–2007. Jeremiah, along with the Customer Strategy team, has published numerous research reports focused on social business. He has been frequently quoted in theWall Street Journal, The New York Times, and USA Today, and he is a frequent keynote speaker at business and technology conferences around the world. He also served as the Intranet Architect at World Savings (now Wells Fargo) and was a user experience professional at Exodus Communications after receiving his Marketing bachelor’s degree at SFSU. After work, he spends time with family, gets in some exercise, and travels to tropical beaches. Jeremiah was pleasantly surprised to find that his small, white, furry dog Rumba is active on Twitter.

In January 2016 Ralf Busche took over the position of Senior Vice President Global Supply Chain Strategy & Performance BASF Group. He is responsible for global supply chain strategy, planning and process development, supply chain service and network optimization, and supply chain performance management for all BASF business units. Ralf ensures that required supply chain capabilities are available and caters for a competitively differentiated supply chain for each business unit at an optimum balance between differentiation and harmonization. Ralf Busche has been working for BASF since 1989. After working in Corporate Consulting, Dispersions and Plastics, he later moved to Fine Chemicals, where as Director he took over management of the division’s supply chain and value chain. From 2007 to 2008 Busche was Director Global Procurement Maritime, Air & Terminal Services. In 2009 he moved to Hong Kong and as Vice President took over responsibility for the supply chain in Asia Pacific.

Howard Fuller has over 20 years combined experience as a business leader, business management consultant and head of Quality & Supply Chain. Dr. Fuller has served as head of Quality & Supply Chain at Amyris since February 2012. Before joining Amyris, Dr. Fuller led a business management consulting firm working with leading Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Also, Dr. Fuller has led multiple startup companies including an online health & fitness company and revolutionary engine technology company. Previous to that, he served as an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University. His degrees include a BS in Mathematics, MS in Statistics and PhD in Industrial Engineering.

Mark Hersh is Director Supply Chain Strategy for The Clorox Company. In this role he is responsible for developing the Supply Chain vision and roadmap, being an internal expert on leading practices and industry trends, designing the processes and capabilities for globally integrated end-to-end supply chains, leading the supply chain analytics organization and leading major initiatives across the company. He is helping drive the Value Chain Segmentation process for the company with the goal of delivering transformational value through tailored supply chains matched with product and market requirements. He is also the program manager for the Company wide Growth Culture and Lean Enterprise initiatives.

Dr. Mani Janakiram – Dr. Mani Janakiram is a Principal Engineer and Director of Supply Chain Strategy & Analytics at Intel Corporation. For 14 years he managed several strategic projects in factory operations, capacity planning, process control, analytics, strategy, supplier management, factory science and supply chain. Additionally, he had 22+ years in the Hi-tech, Automotive and Aerospace industries. Prior to Intel, he worked at Honeywell and Motorola in operations, strategy, systems, analytics, manufacturing, research, planning, etc. Mani holds two patents and published 50+ papers on supply chain, statistical modeling, capacity modeling, data mining, factory operations research and process control. Mani is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University, school of Business and a visiting lecturer at MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. Mani holds PhD; M.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering; MBA; and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He is a recognized Six Sigma Master Black Belt and an APICS certified supply chain professional (CSCP).

His career has included stints in consulting, quality assurance and logistics; jobs have ranged from direct supervision of Planners at 25 years of age to Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations at a multi-billion dollar international company heading up the SC division with >120 employees. Walaa has extensive knowledge of the FMCG ( Detergents , Paper ) industry in Middle East working 14 consecutive years for Procter and Gamble EMEA then for Kimberly Clark Middle East . He spent as well 3 years helping building the Distribution footprint for P&G in Nigeria

Erika Murguia joined Cummins in 2013 as part of the Corporate Supply Chain Strategy team, where she is responsible for leading supply chain design and network optimization efforts for Cummins.
She has a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University and later joined Tecnologico de Monterrey – Campus Sinaloa as a professor of Industrial Engineering. She was also part of TIS Consulting in Mexico where she led supply chain design and network optimization for governmental projects.

Mourad Tamoud is the Global Supply Chain China Senior Vice President for Schneider Electric. In this role, he is responsible for Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Logistics for the Greater China region.
Previously he held positions with progressive responsibility in procurement and manufacturing in Asia and Europe. He graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Genie Industriel de l’Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble receiving a Master Degree of Industrial Engineering.
